ESCAPE, (excerpt from PALACE) specifically questions how our emotional states shape our perceived environment, and how the fragility of the ego lends itself to the complexity of partnership. Influenced by surrealistic imagery, with a soundscape inspired by the language of our instincts and emotions, the two characters are connected through a physical language that ranges from fluid to frantic. Through this emotionally charged performative work, we hope to bring attention to the importance of taking care of one’s internal world.
